BROKEN ARROW

RANCH

A Refuge Where the Wild is Embraced

Kalie Horse Rescue

At Broken Arrow Ranch, every horse holds a story of resilience. Nestled in the southern foothills of the Ochoco National Forest, our 2,000-acre refuge provides a safe haven for mustangs, horses, and mules who were once at risk. Now, they live with dignity—grazing in wide pastures, forming deep bonds within the herd, and finding peace under the vast Oregon sky. Here, they are no longer forgotten. Here, they are home.

Nature speaks in quiet whispers, and the wisdom of the horse is found in stillness. They teach us to listen—not with our ears, but with our hearts. At Broken Arrow Ranch, we honor the deep, symbiotic relationship between humans, animals, and the land. Through mindful stewardship and heart-centered interactions, we invite people to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover their place within the natural world.

Our focus extends beyond being a place of sanctuary for horses and humans; we are caretakers of the land, restoring balance where it has been lost. Through regenerative practices, we nurture a thriving ecosystem where horses, humans, and nature exist in harmony. In their presence, we learn to move with awareness, to cultivate intention, and to embrace the silent language of connection.

In the still company of horses, we are reminded of what it means to belong—to the land, to one another, and to the quiet pulse of life that connects all beings. Their presence invites reflection and restores balance, showing us how to move through the world with grace and authenticity. At Broken Arrow Ranch, healing arises naturally, woven through every breath of wind, every heartbeat, and every moment shared in harmony with the Earth.

Broken Arrow Ranch and Sanctuary

We provide sanctuary for rescued horses who will educate, expand and support the awareness of the symbiotic relationship between humanity and the natural world. We advocate for and aim to regenerate the health and vitality of the original and organic relationships between land, animal, and human.
